Albany Park - A Growing Community Hub

There are lots of exciting things happening in Albany Park!

We're a community of people who live in the area with a shared heart for loving Jesus and serving our neighbours. Since 2016, members of New Community Church Sidcup - including Helen, Lorn, and others - have been building friendships and creating spaces for connection in the heart of Albany Park.

What began with a few community groups has grown into a vibrant hub of activity. Today, Albany Park is home to Fill My Cup (a free Friday morning community cafe), BoxFit (non-contact boxing fitness for young people), and Messy Church - an interactive, all-age gathering full of creativity, fun, and faith.

One of our newest gatherings is Open Space - a Sunday afternoon gathering that brings people together for praise, a gospel message, personal testimonies, refreshments, and a shared meal. It's a space for encouragement, community, and experiencing the love of Jesus in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Throughout the year, we also host events like BBQs, parties, and courses such as Alpha and Kids Matter, all designed to strengthen relationships and support local families.

Everyone is welcome - whether you're looking for friendship, a space to belong, or simply something fun to bring the kids along to.
